UL-SIFE finally bags the big one!

Makati City, Philippines–The University of Luzon SIFE team was named SIFE Philippines National Champion and will advance to represent the Philippines at the SIFE World Cup in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, this October. Fifteen teams participated in the Philippines National Competition 23 July, and more than 300 people attended this event, including leading business executives who judged the competition.

SUSTAINABLE ACTIONS for VIABLE ENVIROPRENEURSHIP PLUS

Project SAVE+ aims to improve the lives of the marginalized farmers and, at the same time, promote environmental awareness and proction.Hence, UL-SIFE worked on two strategies namely eliminating farm-generated wastes, oyster shells and plastic bottles accumulation and eradication of unhealthy fishing practices.

The University of Luzon Students in Free Enterprise (UL SIFE) is the lone winner from Pangasinan declared as League First Runner-Up in the recently-concluded SIFE National Competition held at the Asian Institute of Management, Makati City, last July 17, 2009.

I grew up with Transformers. There was something about these shape-shifting robots that really flabbergast me and my nephew Cedric. With this fascination, we hooked ourselves into coloring books, stickers, collector cards, toys. So, when I heard they were invigorating Transformers with a movie, my heart pounded with excitement knowing that top-pick, favorite cartoon of the world was off to the big screen. This was the movie everybody loved as evidenced by the 700 million gross earnings worldwide.
